Sainsbury's Recalls Olives Over Glass Concerns
Sainsbury's has issued a recall for its brand of pitted green olives after a small number of jars were found to contain glass.
The recall applies to 350g jars with a best before date of January 13, 2017.
Sky sources say nobody has been injured or taken ill after eating the olives.
"We take food safety very seriously and have removed them from sale as a precautionary measure," the company said.
"We are working closely with the supplier and an investigation in to how this happened is ongoing."
The recall was issued after Sainsbury's received a number of customer complaints about the product.
The product has been removed from Sainsbury's shelves and an investigation is under way.
