Sandra Bullock Home Break-In: Suspect Charged
A man accused of breaking into actress Sandra Bullock's Los Angeles home while she was inside has been charged with burglary and stalking.
Joshua James Corbett was charged on Tuesday, two days after he allegedly jumped over the fence at the Hollywood star's home and broke in.
Police were called to the property at about 6.30am on Sunday.
Corbett, 39, was arrested at the scene.
Prosecutors also filed felony weapon possession charges against Corbett, although it was not immediately clear if he was armed when arrested.
Bullock's representative told People magazine after the incident that she was "unharmed and fine".
If convicted, Corbett faces up to seven years and four months behind bars.
He remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail, but prosecutors are seeking to increase the amount to $185,000.
