Schumacher 'Showing Signs Of Improvement'
Michael Schumacher is showing signs of improvement, the Formula One legend's manager has said.
Sabine Kehm told the German newspaper Bild: "I can only say again - there are signs that give us encouragement."
The 45-year-old has been in an induced coma since suffering a serious head injury in a skiing accident in France in December.
Schumacher fell and struck a rock while on a family holiday.
The paper also quoted Ms Kehm as denying reports his family are building a special medical facility to help care for him at their home.
Relatives, doctors and friends remain optimistic Schumacher will wake up, the report added.
The comment echoes the last official update on Schumacher's condition last month, when Ms Kehm said: "We are and remain confident that Michael will pull through and will wake up."
It also comes a week after F1's former chief doctor said it was unlikely Schumacher would ever recover.
Doctor Gary Hartstein, the sport's medical delegate until 2012, wrote on his blog: "As time goes on, it becomes less and less likely that Michael will emerge to any significant extent."
