Scott Eastwood learned acting from his famous father

Clint Eastwood's actor son Scott learned about the movie industry from his famous father as he spent so much time on film sets as a child.

Scott Eastwood is currently making a name for himself as an actor and has landed a starring role in the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie.

Eastwood has now revealed he was inspired to take up the profession after watching his dad work when he was a young boy.

He tells the Chicago Sun-Times, "If I wasn't in school, I was on his sets as a kid... I had to earn my keep, which was good. It was quite an education. You don't want to just be 'the son.' You want to be part of the team."

Eastwood, 26, previously appeared with his father in 2008's Gran Torino and he also has a role in the actor/director's new baseball film Trouble with the Curve.
