Shakira and Prince Royce win Lo Nuestro awards

Pop stars Shakira and Prince Royce dominated Latin music's Premio Lo Nuestro Awards on Thursday, taking home four awards each.

The Hips Don't Lie hitmaker scored gold in the Pop categories for Artist of the Year - Female, Album of the Year for Sale El Sol, and Song of the Year for Rabiosa, while she was also presented with the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year honour.

Bachata star Prince Royce triumphed in the Tropical awards, earning Artist of the Year - Male, Tropical Traditional Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for El Amor Que Perdimos, and Collaboration of the Year for his appearance on Daddy Yankee's Ven Conmigo.

Enrique Iglesias landed the Pop Artist of the Year - Male accolade, while rapper Pitbull was a double winner, claiming Album of the Year for Armando and Artist of the Year in the Urban categories.

Other winners at the Miami, Florida prizegiving included Wisin y Yandel, pop group Camila, and rockers Mana and Alejandra Guzman.
