Silver Linings Playbook wins gold at Independent Spirit Awards
Silver Linings Playbook dominated the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, landing four top trophies.
The dramatic comedy won best film and best screenplay, as well as best director for David O. Russell and best actress for Jennifer Lawrence.
The Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California, came on the eve of Hollywood's prestigious Academy Awards, where Silver Linings Playbook is nominated for eight Oscar statuettes.
