Simon Callow's bizarre bedtime stories for dogs

Simon Callow has narrated the world's first bedtime stories for dogs in a bid to calm pooches during firework displays.
The Shakespeare In Love star has recorded the free audiobook, titled Stanley's Tall Tale, to help the animals 'understand' the noises associated with Bonfire Night.
The story uses a number of animal psychology techniques and communicative soundbites that are said to capture a dog's attention and help it relax.
Callow says in a statement, "Having two dogs myself I know just how terrifying the sound of fireworks can be to animals. I hope that lending my voice to the bedtime story can go some way to help petrified pups relax this Bonfire Night."
