Simon Cowell charters jet for Rita Ora

Rising pop star Rita Ora got a taste of the high life after Simon Cowell offered her a ride on a private jet when she appeared on The X Factor.

The R.I.P. singer has been filling in as the fourth X Factor judge during auditions at London's O2 Arena in the hope of landing a full-time spot on the panel.

She impressed Cowell so much with her first appearance that he asked her to stay until Tuesday morning.

And when Ora told the music mogul she was booked to support Coldplay later in the evening, he arranged for a £6.5 million private plane to chauffeur her to the gig in Coventry.

A source tells The Daily Mirror, "Simon and the show's producers were really impressed by Rita. She was warm and funny, and gave everybody constructive criticism.

"She did get laughed at for asking identical twins if they were the same age but the audience responded really well to her.

"When they asked her to stay another day, they knew it would mean she had to make a quick jaunt to the Coldplay gig. She had been planning to get a helicopter but X Factor chartered her the jet as a thank you."

Ora tweeted a photo of herself standing proudly in front of the jet, writing, "Coventry I'm coming to you now! Just leavin X Factor so we're rushing!"

Leona Lewis and Nicole Scherzinger are also joining Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh as replacements for ousted judge Kelly Rowland this week.
