Simon Cowell eyes X Factor return

Simon Cowell is eyeing a return to The X Factor after growing "worried" about the future of the show, according to his longterm friend Sinitta.
The programme, which was headed by the music mogul from its 2004 debut until 2010, has failed to attract the amount of viewers it did in its heyday, and Cowell - who now appears on the American version of the programme - is keen to boost its appeal by resuming his seat on the panel.
Sinitta tells the Sunday People newspaper, "This has been the worst series ever and Simon wants to come back. He has so much affection for the U.K. show, he is the boss and he wants to be back on U.K. TV.
"Simon says X Factor is his first baby. He worries about the show and there is a lot for him to worry about at the moment. The wrong people are going. He finds it frustrating. He doesn't want the whole thing to fall apart."
Cowell's spokesperson adds, "He has not ruled out returning to the show as a possibility in the future. It is also no secret that he has missed working on the U.K. show."

They are sometimes baffling...

Simon C wonders why he x factor viewing figures are dropping. It's because it's deathly boring and drawn out Simon. It's also cliche ridden and the judges talk mince. Halve it's length, stop letting dull and untalented contestants through because they may be "marketable", stop all the sob stories, show us more auditions, cause that's the bit we really like. Oh and admit that the participants are merely contestants on a talent show, not bone fide stars who have paid their dues. ( if it's embarrassing watching Bono reach out and let the crowds touch his hallowed hand, then it's a zillion times worse to see sixteen year old boy band contestants do it).e

What he has failed to grasp is that this isn't actually his "first baby" at all and as such it doesn't really matter!
