Simon Pegg opens special troops' cinema
Actor Simon Pegg and model Jerry Hall showed off their caring sides on Thursday by launching a new cinema designed for injured soldiers.
The stars were the guests of honour at the Headley Court rehabilitation centre in Surrey and met with troops who would benefit from the facility.
Pegg says, "It's great. People who can't get in multiplexes can see the new releases."
The stars' visit comes a week after Charles, Prince of Wales opened the Jubilee Rehabilitation Wing at the centre.
Telling the staff and patients how he was impressed with the building's quick turnaround since work started in January, he said, "I want to express my warmest possible congratulations to all those who have made this journey possible and somehow been able to open it within six months, or just over, which is a remarkable achievement."
