Sir Elton John is father again - report

Music icon Sir Elton John has become a dad for the second time, according to a U.S. report.

The Rocket Man and his partner David Furnish have added to their brood after their California-based surrogate recently gave birth, reports New York Post gossip column Page Six.

The couple is said to have turned to the same woman who delivered their first son, Zachary, on Christmas Day in 2010.

The woman, whose identity is being kept secret, is believed to have been connected with the pair through a surrogate parenting centre in the U.S.

A spokesperson for the singer has refused to confirm the reports, telling Page Six, "We never discuss our clients' personal lives."
