Sir Elton promotes safe sex

Sir Elton John is urging young people to be more vigilant about the dangers of AIDS - insisting the message of safe sex needs to be drilled in to every new generation.
The Rocket Man returned to his public duties at the Elton John AIDS Foundation gala in New York on Monday night, after a bout of illness forced him to scrap a string of concerts over the last few weeks.
The singer's annual fundraisers help people already battling the deadly virus, but John warns that teenagers are still not knowledgeable about the dangers of unprotected sex
He says, "We are finding that too many young people are not listening to what we are saying.
"It's a cynical thing. Every 10 years a new generation comes along and you have to re-educate them."
