Sir Ian McKellen teams up with Hobbit co-stars for charity event
Actor Sir Ian Mckellen thrilled the audience at his charity show in New Zealand on Saturday by welcoming his The Hobbit co-stars to the stage.
The 73 year old has been performing a string of one-man shows to raise money for a theatre which was devastated by an earthquake in the country last year, and his latest stop took him to Wellington's Opera House.
Martin Freeman, Aidan Turner, Richard Armitage and Luke Evans were among the stars who graced the stage with the acting great, who played a director to his pals in one skit.
Proceeds from McKellen's charity shows are going towards the restoration of Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal.
