Skyfall smashes box office figures

New Bond movie Skyfall took a whopping £20 million in its opening weekend, making it the highest-grossing film launch of 2012.
Daniel Craig's third outing as the suave superspy knocked Ben Stiller's Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted off the top spot, forcing the DreamWorks animation into second place with £2.8 million.
Liam Neeson's popular sequel Taken 2 hold is position at number three with £1 million, and Paranormal Activity 4 drops two places to fourth, pulling in £792,342.
Spooky animation Hotel Transylvania, which stars Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler, rounds up the top five with £782,340.
