Stacey Solomon set to land TV show

Stacey Solomon is to star in a sitcom based on her life.

Former The X Factor contestant Solomon will play herself in the show, written by Rob Colley and Dan Gaster.

The semi-fictional series will also star impressionists Phil Cornwell and Ronni Ancona, who have been cast as the star's parents.

A source tells The Sun, "There's a lot of excitement about this project. It's not just another reality TV show, there's a brilliant production team behind it. There's strong interest from ITV."
