Stars turn out to support Elton John's AIDS charity

Stevie Nicks performed for a star-studded crowd at Sir Elton John's 11th annual AIDS research fundraiser in New York on Monday night.
The Rocket Man legend threw his yearly party to pull in donations for the Elton John Aids Foundation, and Brooke Shields, Lance Bass, Alan Cumming, and Courtney Love turned out to support the cause.
Fleetwood Mac star Nicks took to the stage to sing for the guests, before the host addressed the crowd to insist more money is needed to end the stigma of the killer disease.
He said, "The stigma involved in people coming out and saying they're HIV positive is still an underground thing, it's still a shame-based thing. Until we can get everybody tested and people to come out and be role models to people who have HIV, then we're still battling against this disease."
The event raised more than £1.25 million.
