Stephen Fry battles sickness for Twelth Night performance
Stephen Fry battled through a stomach bug and a fever to perform in a London production of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night on Tuesday.
The funnyman plays Malvolio in the classic comedy, but he spent the day feeling unwell and left the Apollo Theatre as soon as the play ended.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Wonderful audience tonight: I've had a tummy bug & fever so slipped away early - apols (apologies) to stage door ppl (people). But thank you Dr. Theatre."
Returning to the site on Wednesday morning, Fry assured fans he was feeling better after a good night's sleep, adding, "Recovered from tummy bug thank goodness."
