Stephen Fry selling off marriage proposal for fan

Actor Stephen Fry will make one lucky fan's Valentine's Day an occasion to remember by helping them to propose.

The funnyman is auctioning off "the most unique marriage proposal ever" on behalf of Kissing for Conservation, a charity which raises funds to protect endangered Asian elephants.

Fry will pen an online proposal to the winner's beloved on his Twitter.com page on Valentine's Day and he took to the microblogging website to share a link to the auction alongside the message, "Who's looking for a way to propose this Valentine's Day? I could help you out if you want..."

Bidding closes at midnight on 13 February and had reached £150 as WENN went to press.
