Brussels Police: Suspect Package 'Harmless'
Brussels police have a suspicious package, found on a bus hours after President Obama arrived in the city, is harmless.
A police spokesman confirmed the security alert had turned out to be a false alarm.
The spokesman said a security perimeter set up around the bus is to be lifted.
Bomb squad officials were called to the bus in the north of the city, roughly two miles from the headquarters of Nato, earlier on Wednesday to investigate the package.
It was found hours before President Obama was due to hold talks with Nato Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
Talks are expected to be dominated by the crisis in Ukraine.
