Teens Charged With Murder Of Man Before He Died

Three teenagers have been charged with murder - before their alleged victim died from his injuries.

The boys, two aged 14 and a 16-year old, will appear in court accused of the murder of Rashid Naeem in east London, Scotland Yard said.

Mr Naeem was stabbed on Sunday, February 16, at Queen's Market in Upton Park, where he ran a market stall.

The three youths were charged with murder on Tuesday morning, before Mr Naeem succumbed to his injuries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said at the time: "The victim remains at an east London hospital, however his injuries will prove fatal and consequently the three youths have been accused of murder."

The force later issued a statement saying: "Mr Naeem was pronounced dead this morning at Royal London Hospital. A post-mortem examination will be conducted in due course."

The three boys will appear at Stratford Juvenile Court later today.
