'The Rock' Faints During Filming For Hercules
Former professional wrestler Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has admitted fainting on the set of his latest film.
Despite years of being toughened up in the WWE ring, it was his role as Greek mythological hero Hercules which pushed him to the brink.
Speaking to Sky News' Entertainment Week, Johnson revealed he "blacked out" during the iconic moment when he shouts "I am Hercules" in the new film, which also stars British actors John Hurt and Ian McShane.
He said: "It was the most important scene for me in the entire movie ... so I asked my props supervisor to give me real chains, real cuffs, real cement so I could not break them if I tried.
"With all my might and my energy I screamed, 'I am Hercules,' until I had nothing left.
"The thing is ... if you have no place to put this energy and intensity and it's just stuck here ... you completely black out."
"I blacked out and I fainted," he added.
The latest Entertainment Week also discusses the week's big stories, including the inquest into Peaches Geldof's death, the outcome of two trials involving Tulisa Contostavlos and Adele's privacy victory for her two-year-old son.
Reporter Joe Michalczuk is at Comic-Con in San Diego to take a sneak peek at next year's blockbusters, including The Hobbit and Mad Max.
