Once you've caught up on last week's business news video, you can get ahead on what's coming up next week with Sky's Week Ahead.
:: Monday, July 21
On Monday, the Ernst and Young ITEM Club will release its summer forecast and Deloitte will release its consumer tracker. Ian King Live at 6.30pm will speak to Ewan Venters, the chief executive of Fortnum & Mason.
:: Tuesday, July 22
It's a big week for results. On Tuesday in the US, we will hear from Apple, Coca-Cola, McDonald's and Microsoft which has announced it will lay off 18,000 people, equivalent to 14% of the workforce in the next six months.
:: Wednesday, July 23
On Wednesday at 9.30am the Bank of England will publish the minutes of July's monetary policy committee meeting. Voting to raise rates remains 9-0, or does it? The minutes will be scrutinised for clues about when UK interest rates might eventually rise. If any members of the Monetary Policy Committee voted for higher rates, the market could take this as a signal that a hike might come later this year.
:: Thursday, July 24
Royal Mail will host its AGM at the NEC in Birmingham. This will be its first following its controversial float last autumn. MPs have said that taxpayers lost out on £1bn because the government and its City advisers underpriced its privatisation.
:: Friday, July 25
On Friday, we will receive second quarter growth figures at 9.30am. This could be the first time GDP may reach pre-2008 levels. It was estimated to have increased by 0.8% between Q4 2013 and Q1 2014, unrevised from the second estimate of GDP published 22 May 2014.
