The X Factor wannabes can audition on Facebook

Pop star hopefuls have been given an extra chance to appear on this year's The X Factor - they can audition via Facebook.
Open auditions for the new series have been completed, but for the first time ever they are allowing submissions through the popular social network.
Wannabe singing sensations can film their audition and upload it to the show's Facebook page until the 8 May deadline.
Richard Holloway, the show's executive producer, says, "We want to cast our net as wide as possible to find the best talent the country has to offer and allowing people to enter via Facebook ensures we reach a whole new audience."
It's not the only first in the upcoming series of the show - singers can now enter even if they already have a management deal.
Simon Cowell has ruled out a return as a judge because of his commitments to the U.S. version of The X Factor.
