Toddler sparks White House security lockdown
Security officers locked down the White House after a toddler managed to squeeze through the bars of the north gate.
Sticking with protocol, Secret Service chiefs closed off access to the building and Pennsylvania Avenue.
Armed officers dashed across the famous lawn after the alarm was triggered.
After being apprehended, the young trespasser was reunited with his parents. And it looks like he will escape any charges.
"We were going to wait until he learned to talk to question him, but in lieu of that he got a timeout and was sent on way with parents," Edwin Donovan, spokesman for the US Secret Service said.
