Tony Hadley's baby named after the Queen

Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley named his baby daughter after Queen Elizabeth II as she was born on the 60th anniversary of the monarch's reign.

The pop star's wife Alison gave birth to his fifth child on 6 February, and they named her Genevieve Elizabeth in honour of the momentous date.

He tells Loose Women, "I've got a new baby, a little girl. She is three months old. She was born on the Queen's anniversary date on February 6. (She is called) Genevieve Elizabeth. She is absolutely gorgeous."

Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne on 6 February, 1952 following the death of her father, King George VI.
