Tulisa Contostavlos meets half-brother
Tulisa Contostavlos has ended a five-year search for her long-lost brother after meeting him for the first time on Sunday.
The pop star has told of her joy after tracking down her half-sibling Neil Jones, whose dad is also former Mungo Jerry musician Plato Contostavlos.
She says, "I'm so happy to finally meet my brother. This has been a very important weekend for my family."
According to the Daily Mirror, Plato was still a teen when he fathered Jones, who only discovered he had a half-sister after learning the man who raised him was his adoptive dad.
The half-siblings are said to have instantly hit it off and have vowed to keep in touch.
A source tells the publication, "Tulisa feels like the final piece of her family jigsaw has been completed. She has spent years trying to find Neil and was delighted after finally discovering his whereabouts. They communicated online and agreed to meet up over a coffee.
"Tulisa was incredibly nervous but the meeting went really well and Neil has been welcomed into the family with open arms. Tulisa could not be happier. It's been an emotional few days."
