Twitter debut for Jessica Simpson's baby

Jessica Simpson introduced her daughter to Twitter.com on Tuesday by sharing an adorable snap of the newborn.

The pop star became a mum after giving birth to Maxwell Drew last month, and she has now debuted the eight-week-old baby to her 5.3 million Twitter fans.

Simpson posted a picture of her new arrival wearing a red and white striped jumpsuit, along with the simple caption, "Howdy friends".

Maxwell, who was born on 1 May, is the singer's first child with her sports star fiance Eric Johnson.
