Three Generations Of Family Die In Gwent Fire
Three members of the same family who died in a house fire in Wales have been named.
The bodies of Kim Buckley, 46, her 17-year-old daughter Kayleigh Buckley and her six-month-old granddaughter Kimberley Buckley were found inside the building
Police received a call at approximately 3.30am from the fire service who were attending the blaze at an address in Tillsland, Coed Eva, Cwmbran.
Firefighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service told local reporters the house was "well alight" when they arrived at the scene with four fire engines.
The upper floor of the two-storey building is reported to have been completely burnt out.
According to local reports the baby is understood to be one of twins - her sibling having died earlier.
Police later arrested a 27-year-old man from the Manchester area on suspicion of murder. The man, who has not been named, is being held at an undisclosed location.
Neighbour Saran Roberts told Sky News: "Everyone is in a hell of a shock as you can imagine. People around here just can't believe it.
"They were a lovely family, they wouldn't hurt a fly. The most loving family you could wish for."
Sandra Gough, 64, who lives a few doors from the house, added: "I heard banging and screaming at about 3am. It could well have been somebody trying to force their way in or out of the burning house.
"I would have tried to help if I'd gone out there, but I didn't know. I thought the banging was coming from the nearby primary school. They're doing work there and I just thought they were continuing through the night.
"I thought the screaming might have been young people in the street. At my age, when you live alone you think twice before going out in the dark.
"I just drifted off to sleep after a while and I thought no more of it. I suppose the noise must have died down."
She added: "It was only when I got up this morning that I heard what happened, but I didn't realise it was so close.
"I saw all the ambulances outside and the house was still smoking. It is terrible, absolutely horrific."
Kayleigh is understood to have spent her first day at home after spending several months in hospital following the birth of her daughter.
A few weeks ago she posted the following message on her Facebook profile: "There is a reason why your heart is located on the left. It's because it's not always right".
Chief Inspector Steve Corcoran from Gwent Police, said: "This is a tragic incident that involved three generations of the same family and our condolences are with the family of the victims.
"We would ask, on their behalf, for them to be left alone to grieve at this time. Our family liaison officers are supporting them at this dreadful time.
"This has affected the wider community. They were well known within the community and their loss will be keenly felt and they will be missed. We are grateful for the co-operation of the community at this awful time.
"We are working with partners to ensure that all those affected will be given support."
The area has been cordoned off and police have begun a forensic investigation. Officers will be conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area.
:: If anyone has any information about the incident they are asked to call 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

what do you think?
How can someone be so cruel . Rip to all concerned <3
What is happening in this country? I know that some horrific crimes have been committed in the past, but nearly every week now you hear of someone being murdered. You are not even safe in your own home. My deepest sympathy goes to the family.

Terrible. Just watched the news story on tv and the whole community is devastated. Apparently, the little girl's twin had died and she herself had been in hospital until just yesterday so there are "Welcome Home" cards everywhere. It was supposed to be a happy day. What a dreadful thing to do to someone.
That poor family must be devastated. What an awful thing to do,especially to a tiny baby. My heart goes out to them.
