Tyga becomes a father

Rapper Tyga is a new dad after welcoming a son with his girlfriend.

The Rack City hitmaker's partner, Blac Chyna, gave birth to a little boy named King Cairo Stevenson on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Announcing the news in a post on Twitter.com, the proud mother wrote, "40 long weeks... So happy words can't explain!!! Welcome King Cairo Stevenson 7lbs 1 oz... blessed!!!!"

Tyga, real name Michael Nguyen-Stevenson, has since tweeted a picture of himself holding his baby son, alongside a caption which reads, "Most Amazing feeling ever."

The arrival of the hip-hop star's child will be a welcome boost for Tyga - he is currently facing a lawsuit from his former landlord over allegations he fell behind on rent for his Malibu home.
