United Stone Roses hug it out after Reni rift
Stone Roses proved their tour was back on track following Alan 'Reni' Wren's stage walk-off earlier this week by enjoying a group hug in front of fans in Sweden on Thursday.
The cult band is currently touring Europe as part of their comeback, but old tensions seemed to return at their show in Amsterdam on Tuesday night when drummer Reni walked off stage and failed to return for an encore.
Frontman Ian Brown returned alone to tell fans that his bandmate had gone home, and branded the musician a "c**t", sparking concerns their future concert dates would be put in jeopardy.
However, the rockers returned to the stage at the Hulstfred Festival in Sweden on Thursday night and played a full set for thrilled fans, before proving there was no bad blood with a hug.
TV presenter Tim Lovejoy, who interviewed the band before the show, wrote on his Twitter page, "The Stone Roses, immense! Nice group hug at the end as well.
"Yes, Reni was hugging everyone. A happy Stone Roses camp."
