US Baby-Snatcher Admits Killing Child's Mother

A nurse in Texas who had suffered a miscarriage has admitted to shooting a young mother dead and taking her three-day old baby.
In a case that has shocked America, the mother was leaving a paediatric clinic with her child when her attacker, Verna McClain, fired at her repeatedly.
The killer then drove away with Kala Marie Golden's infant son, who was then found on Tuesday evening unharmed.
McClain has been charged with capital murder over the death of 28-year-old Ms Golden. She has pleaded guilty to shooting her victim and abducting her newborn baby.
Authorities have confirmed McClain had suffered a recent miscarriage. She had reportedly told her fiance that she had given birth to his child and pretended Keegan was her own baby.
Prosecutors claim McClain shot the mother as part of a plan to kidnap any child that day. Golden was tragically in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Three-day-old Keegan Golden was found with Corina Jackson, McClain's sister. He has been handed over to his relatives.
Witnesses described seeing Golden being shot by another woman who then snatched her baby and began to drive away in a car.
The dying woman leaned into the vehicle and tried to take Keegan back, screaming: "My baby", but her attacker sped away.
McClain is thought to be a vocational nurse, married with two children but separated from her partner.
what do you think?

I'm not going to begin to understand what this lady was thinking or condone her actions, but maybe she needed help when she miscarried her child and didn't get it. The only good thing to come out of this is that little Keegan is safe and unharmed and McClain has admitted murder and not trying to defend herself even though she must know she either faces the dealth penelty or going to jail for a very long time, maybe even life and the chances of her seeing her own children again are limited. May kayla ( name given yesterday on news) or Kala (name above) find peace and watch over her son forever guiding him through life, RIP Kayla/Kala. My sympathies go to all family and friends, especially Keegan. xxx

I agree with Edgar she does look quite sweet almost simple, but that doesn't mean she is in nature. Murderers come in many guises, the fact that i find scary is that she was a nurse and they are supposed 1: to care and 2: to help and protect life. I will never understand what she did and her justification for it. Life is so precious unfortunately many take it for granted.

How can a lady with such a sweet smile and a kind and compassionate face like this be accused of murder, she`s a nurse too.

Yes Edgar, you seem to be referring to a different photo! The woman in the photo I see isn't smiling and looks rather pathetic.
