Video Shows Fighter Jet Crashing Into Flats

Five people have died after a military jet crashed into a block of flats in Libya.

A resident in the eastern city of Tobruk captured the crash on a mobile phone and posted the footage on social media.

The plane was taking part in a fly-by to honour a pilot who died when his fighter jet crashed two days earlier.

A Libyan official said it crashed because of a "technical fault" and came down near the parliament building in Tobruk.

The jet belonged to General Khalifa Haftar's forces who are battling Islamist fighters in the eastern city of Benghazi.
