Thursday's National Newspaper Front Pages

Katie Price's divorce and the apparent softening of Vladimir Putin's stance over Ukraine are among the stories appearing on Thursday's front pages.

The Financial Times and The Guardian are among those reporting that hopes of a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis have risen after Mr Putinindicated he might not be against a presidential election on May 25.

The Independent also features Ukraine, but reports on the situation in Odessa, where it says ethnic rivalries are creating a powder keg of tension.

The Daily Express and Daily Star both feature Katie Price on their front pages, after she announced on Twitter she was getting divorced after only 18 months of marriage.

The Sun also features Price, saying she suspected her husband of having cheated on her for several weeks before she finally found out.

The Times says British special forces are involved in the hunt for more than 200 schoolgirls who were abducted in Nigeria.
