Whitbread set for This Morning fitness role

Fatima Whitbread is helping fans get into shape in 2012 after signing up to be This Morning's new fitness expert.

The former Olympic athlete has been hired to present Fatima's Fat Fight on the ITV1 breakfast series after winning over reality TV audiences in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year.

In the segment, Whitbread will whip four obese viewers back into shape over a 12-week period with intense exercise training.

This Morning editor Adam Vandermark says, "Fatima showed us her steely toughness on I'm A Celebrity..., so she is the ideal person to get our four overweight viewers back into shape."

Whitbread, who finished third on the jungle-based reality show, will begin hosting Fatima's Fat Fight on This Morning from Thursday.
