White prefers a woman's touch in the studio
Rocker Jack White needs a female touch while working on new songs, insisting women provide more energy than male musicians.
The former White Stripes star worked with his ex-wife Meg White in the hugely successful rock band, and he also teamed up with The Kills' Alison Mosshart in his other group The Dead Weather.
He made sure to use an all-female session band for some of the tracks on his debut solo album Blunderbuss, and he's adamant girl musicians provide him with the right vibe to produce his best work.
White tells The Sun, "It was harder to tell with The White Stripes as it was just me and Meg. But as I learned through the years, it only takes one girl to change the effect of all the testosterone. We had it with Alison in The Dead Weather. She provided the perfect chemical mixture for the entire band. It would take 50 guys to compensate for what she brings into the room."
