Woman 'Run Over By Three NYC Subway Trains'
A woman has reportedly survived being run over by three trains in New York City's subway.
Mary Downey fell on to the tracks at Times Square station early on Sunday morning, the New York Post reported.
The 22-year-old Irish woman, who lives in New York, had reportedly been drinking at the time of the accident in the empty station.
Ms Downey suffered an injury to her shoulder in the fall and when she realised she would not be able to pick herself up, she decided to lie between the tracks, the Post said.
The first train passed her over, then the second.
When the third approached, she waved her hand and the driver on the oncoming train saw her but could not break in time to avoid running her over.
Paramedics were called to the scene and she was taken to Bellevue hospital, the report said.
Hours later, she was released with a fractured shoulder.
