Pete Doherty arrested after plane drug bust

Pete Doherty was arrested on a British Airways flight on Friday (5 June) after allegedly being caught in possession of narcotics.
The Babyshambles singer was reportedly found slumped in a bathroom onboard the jet before being detained in Geneva.
The Mail on Sunday claims a hypodermic needle was found beside Doherty at the scene. The instrument was then wrapped up in tissue by airline staff, who passed it on to Swiss police.
A spokesperson for British Airways said: "Swiss police met BA730 from Heathrow to Geneva on Friday and a man was arrested."
One of Pete's fellow passengers reportedly told the paper: "He had been in [the bathroom] for about 25 minutes when the announcement came over for the crew to prepare the flight for landing.
"Pete was taken back to his seat and he looked completely out of it."
A Geneva police spokesperson later told The Sun: "We were contacted by the captain of a BA flight and a passenger was controlled by police. He was charged, but I cannot say what with. He paid a fine and was allowed to go."
Later that day, Doherty was released in time to play at the Swiss Neuchatel Open Air festival, before flying back to the UK in time for his performance at Camden Underworld on Saturday (6 June) as part of the Camden Rocks festival.
