The punky queen on pop is back with the first taste from her fifth album, Funhouse, and it's just what you'd expect and want from a Pink track.

Written in the wake of her split from husband Carey Hart, 'So What' is essentially a brash, defiant and slightly childish break-up song designed to leave a stiletto heel imprint on your ex's back. Oh, and it's quite a lot of fun too.

Perky comedic verses make way for the trite bridge of "I'm gonna start a fight" before the real fun comes. Producer and co-writer Max Martin has done it again: the roof is raised by the best angry girl pop-rock chorus since Kelly Clarkson's 'Since U Been Gone' which, incidentally, he also wrote. Get that man a drink.
