After the brash and up-tempo 'So What', Pink follows the same longstanding single release blueprint she has employed on her last three albums - meaning we're treated to another super-depressing self-hate ballad about how rubbish everything is being sickeningly rich and lusted after.
As with most Pink singles though, its belter of a chorus makes up for any criticisms we could level at the verses.
Cleverly timed to coincide with the month-long hangover of post-festive excess and insufficient funds, the track's industrial drums, and slick production from Nate Hills and No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal, turn this clattering angst-athon into quite a grower.
Special recognition should also be given to the smart one-and-a-half bar pause after Pink sings, "I don't wanna be the girl that has to fill the silence". We see what you did there, and we like it.
