Boris's spoof Olympic welcome

A spoof Olympic address by London mayor Boris Johnson is going viral on YouTube.

Video pranksters Cassetteboy put together the mash-up clip which has notched up about 180,000 views.

It combines snippets from Johnson's The Dream of Rome BBC series and various speeches to comic effect.

The address makes disparaging references to Lord Coe, the games logo, and the controversial sponsorships by McDonald's.

In conclusion Johnson appears to say: "It's a way of saying to everybody in the world: 'Get some burgers or else you get eaten by bears'."

Earlier this year Cassetteboy had a Queen's Diamond Jubilee parody removed from YouTube over BBC copyright concerns.

Other past targets of the Brixton duo include Apprentice, The One Show, BBC News and Dragons' Den.

what do you think?
