Skinny-dipper distracts burglary victim
A US man says his home was burgled - while the culprit's girlfriend distracted him by swimming naked in his pool.
The 54-year-old victim told police the couple called on him while he was at his home in Crossville, Tennessee.
He says the woman sent her husband home to fetch her cigarettes and then asked him if she could take a dip in his pool, reports the Crossville Chronicle.
After he led her to his back garden pool, she asked if he minded if she swam naked and, when he agreed, she stripped off, jumped in the pool and swam for about 20 minutes.
The homeowner sat poolside while she was swimming, handing her a towel to dry off when she finished.
It was only after she dressed and left that the man re-entered his home to find a handgun, jewellery and medication, together worth about $1,200 had been stolen.
A police report says two suspects have been identified but have not yet been found for questioning.
