Call to ban 'sexist' Gisele ad
A Brazilian government agency says it wants a TV ad starring supermodel Gisele Bundchen taken off the air because it is sexist.
It shows Bundchen wearing lingerie while telling an unseen husband that she has just crashed the car and exceeded her credit card limit
Brazil's Women's Rights Secretariat has asked national advertising watchdogs to ban the ad which it says reinforces stereotypes of women as sex objects.
The ad was made by Brazilian lingerie maker Hope which says it wanted to show that a "Brazilian woman's sensuality is her best protection when delivering bad news".
