Chance to put career on the slide
A holiday company is advertising what it says is one of the most fun jobs in the world - a water slide tester.
First Choice needs someone to travel the globe trying out the exhilarating chutes at its SplashWorld resorts.
The successful applicant will even be paid for the privilege - £20,000 for the six-month contract.
Fun junkie Tommy Lynch was in the role for four years and called it "the best job in the world".
Mr Lynch, 33, added: "It can be tough when it's chilly and you have to strip off, but otherwise it's great.
"Getting to check out the flumes is by far the best bit. But there is a serious side and it carries a lot of responsibility."
Mr Lynch, from Liverpool, who hung up his trunks last month to take a new job, hurled himself down slides about 5,000 times during his stint.
And he clocked up 108,000 miles travelling between the 20 resorts in countries such as Turkey and Egypt.
