Crackdown on 'gallon smashing' internet video craze
Police have cottoned on to the bizarre YouTube craze of 'gallon smashing', which sees youngsters deliberately throw big milk cartons to the floor in supermarkets and feign injury.
The hilarious prank has alerted cops in America, who have rumbled perpetrators and pressed charges.
Two brothers and their cousin in Virginia are to be charged with disorderly behaviour and destruction of property, reports The Metro.
No craze has spread to the UK although no action has yet been taken here. With videos depicting a host of copycat bottle-smashing, injury-faking antics on these shores, it may not be long before there's some crying over spilt milk.
