Falling builder saved by bubble wrap

A US construction worker who fell 30ft from a building escaped serious injury - when he landed on bubble wrap.

A spokesman for the Boston fire department said the 38-year-old man fell from a building under construction which was surrounded in scaffolding wrapped in bubble wrap.

Fortunately for him, he fell on a pile of bubble wrap on the ground, reports wcbv.com.

Boston firefighters said the man was stuck and needed to be cut from the bubble wrap.

The man, who was not identified, suffered back and shoulder injuries and required hospital treatment but was not badly hurt.
