Firefighters free woman from glove box
Fire crews had to be sent to rescue a woman after she trapped her hand in the glove box of her car.
The 49-year-old had been trying to fish something out of the compartment, outside her home in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
But her watch got caught in the cavity between the glove box and the dashboard and she was unable to free herself, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Fire crews were called and managed to remove the woman's watch so she could free her hand. She suffered slight bruising.
Crew manager Stuart Hall said: "As soon as the watch came off it was fine, they were a little embarrassed as we were a last resort. But if someone is stuck they are stuck, they can't stay there all night.
"We don't train for something exactly like this but we will always be able get get people free somehow."
