Fireman Sam helps boy save mum
A six-year-old boy saved his pregnant mum after she collapsed by following advice from Fireman Sam.
Liam Robinson called emergency services after he remembered a line from the TV character's song which says "dial 999", reports The Mirror.
Pregnant mum Rebecca Forsyth said she came round as he was waiting at the door for paramedics.
She added: "He climbed on the bookshelf to reach the phone and rang the ambulance. We had taught him to ring 999 in an emergency.
"But he said he knew what to do because of the Fireman Sam song. He was amazing, we are just so proud of him."
Ms Forsyth, who lives with partner Dean, 36, at Seaham, Co Durham, had collapsed with anaemia and chest and water infections.
She has fully recovered. Liam will now receive an award from the North East Ambulance Service for his calm response.
