Girl ticking off little brother goes viral
A video of a four-year-old girl giving her little brother a fond but stern lecture has become an internet sensation.
It shows Delilah O'Donoghue telling two-year-old Gabriel to "toughen up" as she ticks him off for spitting at an older boy in a playground spat.
Nearly a million people have watched the clip of the conversation on a park bench after it was uploaded to YouTube.
"I'll keep remembering you being about two," the little girl warns. "I'm gonna tell my friends that too. You're nearly three, you should toughen up a bit.
"When... my mum and dad say you don't do that, you don't do that."
Appearing to refer to the older playground rival, she also warns him that he must not spit.
"Just toughen up a bit," she finishes, wandering off. "Think about it Gabriel, think about it."
Their father Lee posted the 65-second video on YouTube thinking that friends and family might find it amusing.
Mr O'Donoghue, 42, and wife Alex, 40, from Balsall Common, West Midlands, described the interest in the video as 'surreal'.
"I'm not the sort of father who follows my children around with a digital camcorder. I just spotted it and thought it was comedy gold," he said.

Sad people with little else to do. Crumbs, all this over what families often do but then this is not virtual, etc Let's get back to the Savile affair or why not bring in the Mitchell thing.

Awww, I have to disagree. It would be a sad world indeed if people stopped finding their own kids amusing!

Is she aged 4 or 24? What a mature and thoughtful little lass.

He's right - comedy gold indeed. The last line is legendary. Lovely kids - though the little boy looks like he's had better days! Poor chap. x
