Girls' basketball team urinate into opponents' water cooler
A girls' basketball team has sparked fury by pouring urine into an opposing school's water cooler.
Four pupils of Cassville High School relieved themselves in cups during a match against Monett School in southwest Missouri.
It's understood one girl poured her cup's contents into the cooler.
Authorities at Cassville High have punished the players and have asked infectious disease specialists for advice.
A letter sent to shocked parents of pupils at the school on the receiving end of the prank called for restraint.
"We understand that all of us in Monett are angered and frustrated by this occurrence. We encourage you to support our stance that retaliation in any way stoops to the level of the offence committed against us," it said.
