Helicopter rescues boy's toy plane
A video of a helicopter pilot rescuing a little boy's brand new toy plane which had got stuck in a tree is going viral.
The two-man chopper was passing by a mansion surrounded by woodland in the US when they saw the boy crash the plane.
The scaled-down P51 Mustang was snagged at the very top of the trees and the pilot knew that it would be unlikely to get the plane back from the ground.
So, swooping low, the pilot hovered over the tree-tops while his co-pilot picked up the toy plane.
"Do you think I'll have permission to land now," he jokes as they take the chopper down to return the toy to its owner.
The boy and his family rush to greet them, and can hardly believe their luck.
The rescue has been viewed on YouTube more than 1.2million times. Warning - video contains strong language - click here to view.
what do you think?
Oh how kind pf them.
Fake... Notice how unsurprised the group is. Notice that they are using that model plane in very spacious grounds and that they are the only people for miles. Notice also the huge mansion. If the runway had not been mown in the grass then I'd say they were on a day out somewhere. The fact it had, showed they knew the owner or were the owners of the vast property. I'm going to say it's not such a huge stretch of the imagination to say they owned the helicopter too and that the while thing was a publicity stunt or rather an experiment to see how many hits such a contrived video would get.
Aww! And I thought it was for real! Lol!
It was probably the owners of the mansion who were flying the RC. Also the helicopter pilots clearly say the kid flying the RC has his own little runway "mapped out down there". Those TC planes can cost a lot of money,no wonder they saved it for the kid! Nice to see good people in the world :)
